Pinot Noir may be one of the most challenging varieties in the world to cultivate, but it grows well in cooler moderate climates. The grapes for this wine are from the Santa Rita Hills appellation, which provides just that, yielding flavors of black raspberry, red cherry and plum on the palate, focused by refined tannins and balanced acidity. Pair with pork dishes such as roasted tenderloin or pork chops.
