Really smooth, almost jam like (not in a bad way!), With a bit of a kick at the end. I don't taste the chocolate notes that others have mentioned, but perhaps I didn't let it breathe long enough.
It wasn't too sweet, and not too dry. Perfectly in the middle for my tastes!
Big, bold, full of fruit. Highly recommended!
This wine does not have the lightness and subtly I would normally associate with a Pinot Noir. Instead, it is heartier and more full-bodied like a Cabernet. I didn't particularly like this wine by itself; it needs to be paired with a steak, roast, or fragrant cheese. I don't hate this wine, but I don't love it either.
Much to much "ripe fruit"the first time. Pretty good the second time around...
