Chenin Blanc is a variety that has been quite successfully proliferated in South Africa, and this is a wonderful example. Orchard fruit flavors of apple, pear and quince are pleasantly displayed on the palate, accented by notes of honeycomb and straw. The wine was aged in a bit of oak, making it a richer version of the variety, as well as a delightful companion for pork dishes that incorporate a bit of sweetness, such as honey-roasted ham.
fresh and fruity without being too sweet. chenin blanc has found a new home in South Africa and we"re all the better for it.

Refreshing citrus
A sweet citrusy nose and pleasant texture made each glass a joy. The acidity was more present than I generally care for but I would definitely drink again! The acidity cut the richness of pasta carbonara quite nicely.
